Tholthorpe 10K
Sunday 5th September 2010
11 AM
Welcome to the Tholthorpe 10K Road Race.
The event is run under UKA rules. Licence No. 2010-0137

It is now, 2010, and it is our 15th year of the Tholthorpe 10k, the event has become well known as friendly, well-organised event. Runners of every standard are really welcome – we’ve had internationals as well as those whose first race it is, and everyone is equally important.
The attractive course (see Map) leads out of the village in the direction of Flawith, before turning towards Myton-on-Swale. The quiet countryside and roads continue on the way back to Tholthorpe. Between 5 and 6 miles there are a couple of “ups and downs” with a downhill last 200 yards to the finish on the Village Green.
The route is accurately measured and well-marshalled, with one drinks station between 3 & 4 miles.
In 2009 entries were down on previous years due to a clash of events, we do value your support and hope to avoid this problem occurring again this year. we have never had to limit entries, but around 500 is our limit so please enter as soon as you can!
The race is sponsored by Stephenson's of Easingwold,
A local company that provides coaches for all occasions.
They have supported us for nine years and we are very grateful for their backing. If you’re interested in coach or bus hire call them on 01347 838990 or visit www.stephensonsofeasingwold.co.uk

To make the day as attractive as possible – for friends and family as well as runners – refreshments are available from the Village Hall, and the Northern Runner stall is always popular. Car parking is available within two minutes of the start. If you can come changed it helps!
Results can be ordered in the Village Hall.
